Lucy Corina by Cigar Art
If you've been hanging around Cigar Art for more than 9 years, you probably remember Lucy Corina. This was the first major Cigar Art blend we made. I named the cigar after my daughter, and set off to blend a complex and full-body stick to honor her first birthday. We found the profile we wanted working with a small factory in Esteli, but after a few runs, things didn't go as planned and we ended production.
Bringing this cigar back has been a goal and passion since the original release 9 years ago. I can't think of a project I've ever been more excited about. We found the right factory and partner in our great friends Sebastien and Eylin from Cavalier Geneve. The new Lucy Corina is handcrafted at their factory in Danli, Honduras.
The blend is a new interpretation of the original release. Naturally, we had to do a rothschild and a lonsdale (a throwback), but we've also added some new sizes.
Here's what we're making:
- Lonsdale 6 1/4 x 44
- Rotschild 4 1/2 x 50
- Robusto Extra 5 3/8 x 54
- Gordo Extra 6 1/2 x 58
Wrapper: San Andres Maduro (Mexico)
Filler: United States, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Honduras
Strength: Medium to Full
Body: Medium to Full
